Ashley Schockey graduated from Dartmouth in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in Economics and a minor in Psychology. A native of Coppell, Texax, Ashley has been teaching test preparation and many other subjects for over six years. When not teaching for mindfish, Ashley can be found hiking the hills of Colorado or doing yoga.
Lucas Carmichael is an experienced in instructor with a distinguished academic career. mindfish is proud to welcome Lucas back to Colorado, his native state. Lucas left Colorado to earn his bachelor's degree in East Asian studies from Stanford University. He is now completing his Ph.D. in Theology at the University of Chicago. Lucas has several years experience teaching test preparation and when not mindfishing can be found teaching big words to his two young sons.
Mike Landman was an Academic All-American baseball player for Amherst College. He has been teaching SAT and ACT prep for nearly three years and will soon begin law school at the University of Virginia. When no obsessing over SAT questions, Mike can usually be found enjoying the great outdoors in some fashion: surfing, skiing, biking, or hiking.
Dana Padgett grew up in Maryland and graduated from Brandeis University with a degree in Biology. A passionate learner and educator, Dana has recently completed her certifications in massage therapy and biofeedback analysis. When not teaching for mindfish she can be found enjoying the best that hiking and biking trails that Boulder has to offer. She loves the Colorado sunshine and leads hikes and programs as a volunteer naturalist for Boulder Country Parks and Open Space.
Bill Huston graduated with distinction from Stanford University in 2001 with two BA’s in English and Religious Studies. While attending Oxford University in 1999, Bill experienced the power of one-on-one education and became committed to this model. Since that time he has developed an unrivalled knowledge of the test preparation industry. He has taught test prep classes and private tutorials for many years in Colorado and Boston and written a comprehensive battery of study materials for the SAT and ACT with partner Ryan Krug. When he's not teaching, you might find Bill skiing, biking, or playin music around beautiful Boulder, CO..
Ryan Krug is an engineer, educator, and business strategist. Ryan holds a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University (2001), and an MBA from University of Colorado at Boulder (2007). With Bill Huston, Ryan has crafted every aspect of the mindfish experience: our adaptive learning tools, our paper-based test prep resources, and our innovative course offerings. In short, Ryan has been tackling the test preparation problem from every angle for the last 7 years.
Alli Bell holds a PhD. in higher education policy from the University of Michigan. Alli completed her bachelor's degree in Anthropology at Stanford University in 2001 and has since been working in various roles in the education field. She is an inspired teacher with a passion for helping people realize their goals.
Eric Frantz was a 2001 Presidential Scholar and graduated from Stanford University in 2005 with a B.S. in Materials Science Engineering and an A.B. in History. An entrepreneur at heart, Eric owns a children's cooking school in Westminster, where he loves to work with young people of all ages. He has tutored professionally for more than five years with an emphasis on SAT and ACT test preparation, and he enjoys helping students acquire the skills necessary to be successful in college. Eric spends his time away from the classroom in Broomfield picking dandelions with his wife and two young daughters.
