We typically see improvements of approximately 200 points on the SAT.

A student's score improvement is contingent on many factors, but motivation and amount of study time are the most significant.  With diligent effort (i.e. attentive study and consistent practice over a period of 6 to 8 weeks) most students can expect to realize score improvements of around 200 points. Because standardized tests require a specific style of thinking, steady practice is the surest way to develop stronger testing skills.  With hard work and a concrete goal, most students can achieve their objectives.
