Our Team

Bill Huston is our in-house education and test prep expert. Bill graduated with distinction from Stanford University in 2001 with two BA’s in English and Religious Studies. While attending Oxford University in 1999, Bill experienced the power of one-on-one education and became committed to this model. Since that time he has developed an unrivalled knowledge of the test preparation industry. He has taught test prep classes and private tutorials for many years in Colorado and Boston, written a comprehensive battery of study materials for the SAT and ACT, and hired and managed tutors for his test prep company, QuestPrep, LLC. In addition to test preparation experience, Bill has the ceaseless curiosity and creative spirit to drive mindFish forward. In the last few years, Bill has co-written and marketed a feature screenplay with Magdalena Romanska, an acclaimed playwright and academic from Emerson College, and studied jazz and classical music at the graduate level.

Ryan Krug is an engineer, educator, and business strategist. Ryan holds a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University (2001), and an MBA from University of Colorado at Boulder (2007). While attending business school, Ryan focused on both entrepreneurship and finance and was part of the team that won the 2007 CU business plan competition. Ryan also participated in the investor-entrepreneur interaction through an internship with the CTEK Angels. Ryan has worked for IBM, BMW, Yahoo!, and Hercules Technology Capital in a variety of technological and financial roles. Since finishing business school, Ryan has worked with Bill Huston to optimize the test preparation process within a personalized student-tutor dynamic.
