Matthew Miller
PhD student and teaching assistant in Engineering at DU

Matthew Miller received his bachelor’s degree in Physics from James Madison University and a Master’s in Physics from George Mason University. He’s now a PhD student and teaching assistant studying Engineering at University for Denver. Matthew was enlisted in the army and then spent 10+ years working in defense, engineering, and research positions before enrolling at DU. His PhD work is focused on signal processing, Mechatronics, and deep learning.

When he’s not studying or teaching Matthew can be found writing fiction, learning to draw, or hiking, skiing, or climbing around Colorado.
