Courtney Garner grew up on a farm near Austin, TX. She moved to Boulder to attend the University of Colorado, where she graduated with a BA in Ecology and Environmental Biology and a minor in Geology. During that time, she discovered a love of research science and science education. After graduation, Courtney moved to Denver to begin teaching high school science. She’s taught Physics, Engineering, and AP Environmental Science over the last three years. Courtney enjoys working with neurodivergent students, students with disabilities, and multilingual learners. When not at work, she is often found making art, watching movies, walking around the park, bird watching, or playing Dungeons & Dragons.
