Meet our Visionaries
The Minds Behind Mindfish
Our founders, Bill and Ryan, have over 40 years of collective experience in test preparation. Bill and Ryan were classmates at Stanford and, soon after graduation, became passionate about the work they were doing with individual tutoring students. After putting themselves through graduate school as private tutors (Bill in Music, Ryan in an MBA) program, they joined forces to found Mindfish in 2006. What began as a local SAT/ACT test prep service in Boulder, Colorado has grown organically over the years to become the Mindfish of today: an organization that offers comprehensive and highly personalized educational support for students at every stage of the academic journey. Mindfish’s roots are in Colorado, as evidenced in our four teaching offices in the Front Range, but we’ve long worked with students throughout the country and across the world. And, over the years our field of expertise has evolved from a focus on SAT/ACT prep to include academic tutoring in all subjects, executive function coaching, a suite a services for neurodiverse students, college admissions counseling, and more. Bill and Ryan are immensely proud of the professional team of tutors that has found a home and Mindfish and look forward to positively impacting the learning journeys of each Mindfish student.
