Christian Wilson was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado, graduated from Fairview High school in 2018, and went on to attend Oberlin College and Conservatory, where he participated in the dual-degree program and graduated with degrees in both chemistry and jazz saxophone. Christian first began his teaching career as a Teaching Assistant for CU Science Discovery, where he worked with k-12 students to make scientific concepts fun and exciting. More recently, he worked as a TA for the Chemistry 102 and 103 labs at Oberlin, providing effective instruction and one-on-one mentoring to younger students. After college, he spent a semester in Geneva, Switzerland studying international politics and multilateral diplomacy with the School for International Training. During this time he presented several papers on Baltic security and Russian interference. Christian now aspires to attend graduate school at the University of Colorado where he intends to continue studying music and chemistry. In his free time, Christian enjoys spending time outdoors in Colorado bagging 14ers, skiing, and river rafting. An active musician, Christian also plays regualar sessions in Denver and recently collaborated on an album with the New York based band Jargon.
