Mechanical Engineering Graduate of Mines, Boettcher Scholar, Experienced Tutor and Classroom Teacher
Born and raised in Colorado, Holly Andreassen is a Boettcher Scholar who graduated from Colorado School of Mines with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Computational and Applied Mathematics. After college, she entered an international rotational program, where she completed four six-month placements around the US and Mexico working in different facets of engineering. With a little help from COVID-19, she started tutoring students in math and fell in love with teaching. She has spent the past two years as an Algebra I and Statistics teacher, sharing her love of math with her students!
In addition to her work as a Mindfish tutor, Holly is a dedicated member of the Mindfish admin team and, in that role, sets up and manages tutoring programs, dialogues with clients and tutors throughout the process, and works to ensure the success of our all of our students. In her free time, she enjoys reading, crafting gifts for family and friends, and watching Hallmark Christmas movies.
