Jeff Jackson grew up in Spokane, Washington and graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a degree in History and Naval Science, as well as a Masters in History from the University of Richmond. In high school, he was a varsity tennis player and low brass musician, and in college lead the Drum and Bugle Corps as corps commander. After nine years as a Naval Flight Officer he became a full time educator, teaching AP World History, Geography, and band. He has taught multiple subjects at the middle school, high school, and community college levels, both academic and artistic. Jeff has a true passion for helping people learn, and will consistently go the extra mile for his students. He has taught everyone from elementary through adults and senior citizens, and is adept at tailoring his approach to meet his students’ needs and learning styles. When not teaching, he can be found leading group exercise classes, skiing, or singing and dancing in community ensembles.
