Description

1-on-1 Academic Tutoring

Improving academic performance and confidence is a noble in itself and can also aid in the college admissions process. Especially in this era of test-optional college admissions, admissions officials put a lot of weight on applicants’ high school course rigor and grades. If your student needs extra academic support in one or more classes, Mindfish can help!

Our expert tutors have deep backgrounds in many academic subjects:

  • Math (Algebra I and II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Statistics)
  • Science (Chemistry, Biology, Physics)
  • Literature (English classes, American Literature, World Literature)
  • History / Social Studies (U.S. History, World History, Government, Economics)

We also offer academic tutoring to support the more generalized academic skills that are essential to a student’s success in high school, in college, and even in grad school and the professional world beyond:

  • Research Projects (at any stage, from topic proposal to final report)
  • Essay Writing (at any stage, from brainstorming to final draft)
  • Study Skills (help with staying organized, beating procrastination, managing deadlines, etc.)
