George Buck Square
Math and Physics graduate of Emory University. Experienced tutor with a passion for education.

George Buck is a London, UK native with a double degree in Physics and Mathematics from Emory University. George’s passion for teaching blossomed during his time at Emory, where he mentored high-level IB math to seniors at Druid Hills High School. This experience sparked a deep love for education and inspired him to become a dedicated tutor.

At Emory, George’s involvement extended beyond academics. He served as the treasurer for the Emory Club Tennis Team. George also volunteered with Slow Food Emory, cooking meals for local cancer treatment patients at The Hope Lodge. In addition to his contributions to the community, George was an active participant in his local dance community and displayed his creativity by designing the magazine for Emory’s radio club.

Before moving to America, George had already made a significant impact as a tutor, helping middle and high school children excel in math, science, English, and essay writing, resulting in remarkable improvements in their grades, with all his students achieving A’s!

When George isn’t tutoring or engaging in his various activities, you can find him enjoying audiobooks, skiing, hiking, experimenting with cooking, and taking part in improv dance.
