IMG 3230 Alice Major
Historian and Experienced Music Teacher
Alice earned her bachelor’s degree in History at the University of Denver while also studying vocal performance at the Lamont School of Music. Despite juggling internships and stints as a lightboard operator and stage manager, she graduated summa cum laude. Her research experience includes background for History Colorado’s Lost Highways podcast, as well as a thesis on Irish art and folk music.
Alice’s work as a researcher and professional musician enables her to help students tackle challenging subjects from different angles. She believes in using a student’s unique strengths and learning style to face areas of weakness and polish areas of strength.
When not working, Alice can usually be found exploring various creeks and fields with her dog or continuing her search for the best mocha in Denver.
