What is a Perfect SAT Score?
The SAT is scored on a scale of 1600. This score is the aggregate of two subsections: math and evidence-based reading and writing. Each section is scored equally between 200 and 800. Students striving to rank among the top 10% of their peers need a score of 670-800 in evidence-based Reading and Writing; and a 690-800 in the math section.
At Mindfish, we proctor practice SAT exams, so students can see their scores and receive quick feedback. We then hold one-on-one review sessions with each student to break down wrong answers and adjust their strategy by assigning practice work to reinforce specific exam concepts. With mock tests proctored every couple of weeks, Mindfish students have enough time to study and gradually improve their scores. We recommend our peak score students take at least 6 proctored mock exams. When test day comes, our Mindfish students are fully equipped to excel on the SAT.
