PSAT Test Prep in Boise

The PSAT (Preliminary SAT) is a standardized test offered by the College Board. While not directly used for college admissions, the PSAT can offer a snapshot of how a sophomore or junior might score on the real SAT, and it is also used to determine eligibility for a National Merit Scholarship.

Like the SAT, the PSAT contains four multiple-choice sections (Critical Reading, Writing and Language, and two Math sections). However, it does not contain an essay portion, and the PSAT is scored out of 1520 instead of 1600 like the SAT.

Prepping for the PSAT can be a great way for students to improve their chances of earning a National Merit Scholarship and to get ahead start on learning the strategies and skills they will need for the SAT or the ACT.
