In 2021, the AP exams will be administered in three cycles.  Each student should check with their school and AP coordinator to see which administration they will be participating in. The three administrations are:
Each school will decide which administration their students will participate in.
Digital Exams
It is important to note that paper exams will start based on local times while digital exams will start at the same time worldwide (12pm EDT & 4pm EDT). Additionally, students will need to meet certain technology requirements – these will be sent out by Collegeboard in early March.
Students should note that digital exams will consist of questions that can’t be looked up online. So, the focus for most subjects will be on comprehension and interpretation, both of which rely on students understanding the course content.
