Dedicated Tutor and Data Engineer in the Biometric Technology Industry
Michael Chifala grew up in Dayton, Ohio and graduated with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2017. While at CU Boulder, he was a member of the men’s cycling team and competed against collegiate athletes in races all throughout the United States. After graduation, Michael worked in industry as a civil engineer before realizing his interests had shifted towards data science and machine learning. He returned to CU Boulder for graduate school and earned a M.S. in Computer Science in 2019. In addition to tutoring, Michael is currently working as a computer vision data engineer for RankOne Computing and enjoys hiking and snowshoeing in his free time.
